N-400 February 2016 Filers

Looks like the first biometrics will be on 03/01/16. So it takes about one month between sending N400 package and taking biometrics.

How long does it take between biometrics date and interview date with the immigration officer? One month as well?

I've just looked at timeline of those who filed in September-October 2015 their interview date is March 2016.

I guess our interview dates will be in June-July 2016.

Your interview date is going to depend on your local office. From the very few have done there time line with our local office, and talking with others we know who filed for citizenship recently, we have a 4 month wait between sending and interview, which puts my wife's interview in June. She really wants to vote in November.

I looked up my field office and it takes about 4 months between N400 filing date and Oath date.

4 months that's pretty fast!!

As for November 2016 elections.

Deadline in CA is October 23, 2016.

In California the deadline to register to vote is May 23 for primaries. Our primaries will be on June 07, 2016.

I've just checked my receipt number at https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and found out my date is not February 19 but February 18. So I've updated my info.

Depends. I live near DC and there are a TON of immigrants. So I might be here for the full 6 month process time. I'm hoping for the 4 month total time like some lucky n400 applicants on visajourney.

I would like to vote in November too, but we'll see how long this takes.

We should be able to vote by november. Hopefully all of us will be done by August/September.

But by the way things are going I'm probably not going to need to vote haha!

Or if it's the DC office for sure, the timelines show anywhere between 5 months to a year.
