But they brought flags! Bounced them right to the front I think. Maybe I should get my wife a red while and blue bikini to do the swearing in ceremony? lol

They flags are given to you at the Oath ceremony.

I guess you can always take your own supersized flag like this guy.

By the way someone already thought this was a business opportunity http://www.zazzle.com/naturalization+oath+ceremony+clothing .

Those t-shirts are a little cringe-worthy. I would need 3 other citizenship's to my tshirt.

Looks like I am one of those who has entered the black hole of "Name Check." Was fingerprinted on Mar 24, but have not received the in-line for interview e-mail.

Anybody else in a similar position?

Any thoughts on how much longer I should wait before making inquiries?

I am in the same boat. I think for background check from our origin at least take 3 and half months as per my analysis after viewing all these people who were stuck in the past here.

I'm going on 2.5 months since fingerprinting. Perhaps on the 90th day "anniversary" is worth calling it in. Regardless of the party line about "is still within the 5 mo. processing framework", at that point it can't conceivably happen even in 6.5 months...
