Hi Guys,

I wanted to give you some progress about my pending application. So I called the customer service number, then asked to be transferred to a level 2 office, who told me tat my application was approved on May 9th (last week), even though I have not been put in line for an oath nor did I receive an updates online. I asked how long it will take and then he told me if by June 9th I dont hear back anything, I can all them back.

I am wondering why my application is still stuck after being approved or at least that;s what the officer had told me. do you guys recall or experienced a similar situation.

All your thoughts and inputs are much appreciated.

I wish I could give you more information, but the process has just slowly followed the steps for me. Currently we've been inline waiting for an interview for 2 months, although I expected the interview to have been scheduled a couple weeks earlier given my locals history. I assume you've been approved to be put inline, why you haven't yet is as much a mystery to me as why my wife's interview hasn't been scheduled. Presumably the both our locals have been slow to get to the task and we can only wait.

After 8 weeks of being in line my status finally changed yesterday... Interview has been scheduled! Now the wait for the mailman begins.

Interestingly enough I did not get a text message, only an email of a status change, and the app also shows the change in status!

My interview was last Wednesday, even though i passed and have my oath ceremony letter right there, my online status hasn't change since april 4 (interview scheduled)....

Mine is the same. I think they stop updating once it is in the hands of the local office.

Passed my interview today and I was scheduled to take oath on June 7 :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Congrats BiniBini :dancing::dancing::dancing:

Yes I know the online status is not reliable or up to date usually! What's a little concerning to me is that I have not been put in line for an oath since the Tier 2 officer could not see it in their system and I know my office does same day oath ceremony so I am guessing it should not be very busy.

Our experience at the New York City Javits Federal Building

Thanks for the interview story. My husband has a friend from the Ukraine that had the same discussion with the IO about not being born in Russia. lol

Congrats again :D

I must be missing something. Didn't you say you had your oath ceremony letter?

Hi Guys,

My interview in this thursday and Im very nervous and stressed already...Got some issues...

I made sure to read carefully the n400 instructions but the part if I ever been arrested etc etc I marked NO which is true. I only had a minor traffic ticket NO dui related or accident or injured related...It was under $200. I fought the ticket and it got dismissed no money owed...

Then reading some things I realized a ticket is in fact a citation but then I was like it shouldn't be a big issue cause the instructions says that anything below $500 and or DIU related it shouldn't be disclosed...

But now I don't know....I printed out the case from my county clerk website plus an attached document with my drving history from the DMV (which is funny because the ticket doesn't appear on my driving history)....

So now I dont know what to do :/ should I explain the IO what happened? should I not say anything considering is under $500 and no DIU related?

Im freaking out

If you are asked about it make sure to tell the truth, of course. You will go through the application one question at a time. when they get to question 23:

Have you EVER been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement officer...

you should say "Only a minor traffic infraction I forgot about."

The IO didn't make it that far with mine. Nor did I bring it up.
