My wife asked me to type this out so here we go. Her interview was scheduled for 9am. We were 15 minutes early. While we were waiting a few people came out of their interview with big smiles. Good

I wonder is someone could advise me, I was put inline on 3/21 but the status has not changed should I be concerned about this or just wait.

Sorry for not posting earlier

My husband became an official United States citizen last Friday, registered to vote on the way out of the ceremony and applied for his passport on Tuesday

I truly appreciate all the advice, support and help everyone here on Visa Journey has given us over the last 4 years we couldn't have done it without y'all.

My Interview Experience (Federal Plaza in NYC)

I will write what I remember here about my yesterday's interview.

I got to the building around 10:35am and I got my number before I sat down near one of the rooms. I was reviewing the questions for the last time while waiting for my number to be called. My appointment was at 10:50am and I got called around 11:10am. My interviewer greeted me at the door and she walked me to her office. She told me to raise my right hand and asked if I will only tell the truth. I said "I do" and we both sat down. She first started the conversation asking me about LA area as she saw I went to graduate school in LA. Her son is living in LA and wanted to ask me about schools there. She asked for my passport and green card. I gave them to her but she didn't even look at them lol She told me to read this sentence and then asked me to write "Lincoln was president during the Civil War." I passed these and she started asking me the questions from the booklet. I got the first 6 right and she started going over my N-400 application. She asked me where I live now and started going down the questions on the application itself. I said no to all the criminal/charges sections and Yes to all the questions like do you support the constitution etc.....Everything was over and she asked me to sign on 2 places on the application and on my two photos I sent with the application. She asked me about schools in LA again and how much tuition is....She was complaining about her life and how she's living paycheck to paycheck....and told me to save as much as I can while I'm still young...(I'm 29 and she's totally right). Lastly, she asked me if I have the document to prove I registered for selective service and I gave my printed document to her. She printed out the receipt that says Congratulations and told me I will get the mail regarding an oath ceremony. I thanked her for everything and left the building. It was around 11:35am when I got outside.

I'm in the same laggard group, without an update since biometrics oh 2+ months ago.

this probably has been hashed before, but when the Field Office reports a processing date, is that through the Oath or just the interview approval? Is that the "average" case in the office or worst ?

FWIW, San Francisco office just broke 6 months processing times...
