N-400 February 2016 Filers

I sent my N400 this Monday (02/01/16) by UPS (to Phoenix, AZ). Just tracked the status of my package it is not still delivered and delivery was rescheduled due to: "A late UPS trailer arrival has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible. / Delivery will be rescheduled".

Damn.

P.S.: I included official IRS transcripts for 2011-2014 to my N400 package.

I need help, they are asking for the last 5 years on tax returns, but of course I have all but 2011, there is no way to ask for that transcript online or by phone, I already try, do somebody have a similar problem? and how can I solve it, I don't know if I can just show up on a IRS office and ask for that copy

You are little bit late my friend with 2011 IRS transcripts. I mean you should request your transcripts BEFORE April 18, 2016. I requested my IRS transcript for 2011 in January 2016.

So I called uscis yesterday concerning me not receiving my interview notice with my interview being scheduled on 4/19. The lady said she can't disclose the date and time of the interview over the phone and that I only have 2 options, one is to call agaon on 5/19, that marks 30 days from interview being scheduled, to request the notice fax to me, second is if I don't have a fax I'll have to schedule a infopass on the website to request a duplicate copy of the notice and pick it up in person. I have already scheduled an appointment on 5/24, that's the only date available, just in case.

Any advice from you all? Has anyone ever obtained the interview information over the phone? Do I need that notice for my interview if I could find out over the phone?

In October 2015 thread there is one guy (actually female) called Audy_Rob. She had the same experience she has never got her interview letter it was faxed to her by Tier 2 officer.

.....Most applicants have recently been scheduled for appointments exactly 5 weeks after the scheduling date, or one day or two days later if the interview slots for that day are full.... this is not a firm rule, but it's a useful prediction. 5 weeks from Tuesday 4/19 is Tuesday 5/24. If I were you, I would call again this week and tell them that you believe your interview is next week and that you haven't got your notice yet and ask to speak to an immigration officer so he can fax you the letter.

You are right. In my case it is EXACTLY 5 weeks.

My status was updated on May 04 which is Wednesday

And my interview date is June 08 which is Wednesday as well.

My interview was approved!!!

and my oath ceremony is set for June 16. Will tell the details in a bit.

Passed my interview today in NYC and I was told to wait for the mail, which will tell when my oath ceremony will be. I hope it's sooner than later..maybe 2~3 weeks?

Still waiting here too. All depends on your local at this point. It appears you won't get an interview letter until you're about a month out from your scheduled appointment. Some wait a very long time.

Still waiting here too. All depends on your local at this point. It appears you won't get an interview letter until you're about a month out from your scheduled appointment. Some wait a very long time.

My Interview Experience (Federal Plaza in NYC)

I will write what I remember here about my yesterday's interview.

I got to the building around 10:35am and I got my number before I sat down near one of the rooms. I was reviewing the questions for the last time while waiting for my number to be called. My appointment was at 10:50am and I got called around 11:10am. My interviewer greeted me at the door and she walked me to her office. She told me to raise my right hand and asked if I will only tell the truth. I said "I do" and we both sat down. She first started the conversation asking me about LA area as she saw I went to graduate school in LA. Her son is living in LA and wanted to ask me about schools there. She asked for my passport and green card. I gave them to her but she didn't even look at them lol She told me to read this sentence and then asked me to write "Lincoln was president during the Civil War." I passed these and she started asking me the questions from the booklet. I got the first 6 right and she started going over my N-400 application. She asked me where I live now and started going down the questions on the application itself. I said no to all the criminal/charges sections and Yes to all the questions like do you support the constitution etc.....Everything was over and she asked me to sign on 2 places on the application and on my two photos I sent with the application. She asked me about schools in LA again and how much tuition is....She was complaining about her life and how she's living paycheck to paycheck....and told me to save as much as I can while I'm still young...(I'm 29 and she's totally right). Lastly, she asked me if I have the document to prove I registered for selective service and I gave my printed document to her. She printed out the receipt that says Congratulations and told me I will get the mail regarding an oath ceremony. I thanked her for everything and left the building. It was around 11:35am when I got outside.

Phoenix seems to be lagging well behind right now. But that has more to do with the local office than the service center.
