No worries, from now on there will always be at least one black person that gets a nomination so that people can avoid being called out - they will just add it as part of the criteria. Many people will of course think (but never say) "Is that the best person or just the best black person?"

She was saying we should have separation or integration, either one. The time for either/or is long past, duality in existence needs to be abolished. Sure, her examples were blown up and taken out of context to mean something else, by others who not pay attention to the preface she gave, but hey !

I understand she is a first Generation American, so I can understand her disconnectivity to African-American Culture...

Apparently she is a "clueless token used by FOX so the white establishment can cheer on the status quo". Nothing more than an Uncle Tom. How dare she not toe the line on the issue of the oscars? Never mind it has been trumped up because a woman is upset her husband wasn't nominated. Nope, it had to be because of racism. Had to be. The fact that latinos and asians aren't also boycotting the oscars over this shows they are also complicit in the conspiracy.

i think that is wishful thinking..stop talking about racism and it will go away. it was just last year texas had to revise a history text book, for referring to slaves as 'workers', or something like that.
