Tonight is the big night! I'm not watching the oscars this year for the same reason I never do. Bunch of wankers all congratulating each other.

But, I wanted to see what chris rock would say. I won't bother linking his monologue--you'll have to google it "chris rock oscars monologue youtube" because the links keep getting taken down, but the link I just saw now of his 10 minute speech was pretty good.

He outright called hollywood racist all to them, pointed out how very few blacks were in the crowd, but also said jada boycotting the oscars is like him boycotting rhianna's panties. He also wondered why blacks were not boycotting in the past and said it's because they had real problems like grandma hanging from a tree.

I think a lot of the audience were probably quite uncomfortable.
