Looking at the CC to interview spreadsheet, it's taken about 1-1.5 months for Vietnam to get your interview scheduled after CC:

Hello everyone who dealt with consulate in Vietnam.

How long was it from when NVC completed your case until the consulate sent you a notice of your interview date?

Trying to time things.

Here's my spreadsheet there's a bit of a wait. And the embassy doesn't schedule you. NVC does and send you the interview letter
