Then he can ask anyone working there that he needs to get " récépissé" to get a police certificate. It will cost about 100 goudre ht . then he can go at DCPJ its at Clercine with the recepisse plus two ID photo copy of the page that has info on his passport then the approval letter he got from the immigration. He needs be at DCPJ around eight.

The police certificate is not needed for Haiti :) so I doubt you need to do it. Me and my fiance went thru the process a couple of months ago and when they send u Packet 3 by mail (they will mail it to you and him, where ever he is in Haiti) it says the police certificate is not needed.

Are you sure about that? It's on the website and it is on the lost I'd rather be safe than sorry. The list has been update every case is different

Yes I am sure. Every case is different yes but unless the person a criminal history I don't think it is needed and they tell you so on Packet 3. there is a piece of paper attached to Packet 3 when they send it in the mail (yes they will send it) that says that is is not needed for Haiti. But then again if you doubt the information, feel free to bring it as you wish :) It cannot hurt your case

Waiting4areason is correct. Here is the language taken from packet 3:

c) If you were tried for crime or other offense against justice, submit decisions / judgments of Justice certified.

Hello Everyone! My interview date was last week everything went great(visa got approved) but they gave this sheet of paper where I have to visit this site, www. ustraveldoc.com/ht so I can complete the registration form so I can pick which DhL I want to pick my passport. The problem is when I go try to do that it gives a lists of visa to select the one that apply for me; the K1 is not listed. It says clearly on the paper if I don't complete the form I won't retrieve the passport. Did anyone have to go tru this step? What did you do? Please help!

Congratulations on your approval. I set up my account prior to the interview, so my memory is a bit vague. Does it give you the option to choose between immigrant and non immigrant visa?

Thank you! Yes all the visa type that are listed are both for immigrant and non immigrant but the K1 is not listed. After your interview did you have to pick which DHL location you want to retrieve your passport yet? Thanks for answering.

I actually picked the DHL location prior to his interview. I set up my account on the travel docs website in advance. Have you called the help desk? +1 703 544 7842 they may be able to do it over the phone for you.

I picked the location prior to the interview date too so after visa got approved they gave me this sheet that asked to create account and pick the location. Alright I'll call this number. Thank you!
