Please update about your status, I think if yours is updated recently , you will get issued status soon InshaAllah.

Salam Brother, Sorry getting you back late as i was out of town for a while, unfortunately mine status still showing AP and not even any dates updates. SO how was your wife's interview and did she got any slips and what time did the CO says about passport collection. Did you noticed any dates updates and when exactly your status changes to AP?

Exactly soon after the interview which is on Jan21. Till then no updates.

Hello Gentlemen and Ladies. We are in the same situation as you all. After interview, we were asked to submit documents, which we did yesterday through karachi courier service (US Visa Service Center) is there a way to track when embassy receives our documents? We already know about the ceac case status site. thanks

Just checked my status today and it says Issued It took exactly 4 weeks from interview to issued. You should send an email to the embassy and inquire. There are currently 250 cases in AP in Islamabad. If it takes another week, call your local congressmens office and get them involved. I emailed the embassy almost every week and last week i got the local congressmen involved. Maybe thats pushed the processing. Best of luck guys, I think iA you will get issued too.

To contact a congressman, you should search for your local congressmen. They all have websites which give you the option to send an email to their office. Send the email and ask them for help with your spouse's immigration case. Depending on your locality, the office usually contacts you for details.

How do you know there are currently 250 cases in AP at US Embassy Islamabad?

Most of the interview which held last 2 months for K1 & CR1 went to AP , even mY wife had interview on 23 feb & they sent it to AP , m just wondering wht wiLl happen & how long they gona take . 2 more people on same forum have same story, if any1 who got visa after AP . Can plz share the story

I emailed the congressman for my district and they got in touch with me to help out. If your case takes long only then they help you out. I found out abt AP cases from the islamabad embassy.
