Don't loose hope!

If your relation is genuine then be at peace cause, we had a very complicated case but embassy made sure of it that it was genuine and issued but of course there were long waits involved

Islamabad don't reject genuine cases like ever..

Hi Everyone,

I'm not sure how different is my situation, but yeah my wife was given that dreaded 221g white slip. Only thing they asked to my wife to do is send "Visa photos of required standard" it is written on the form itself. My wife took passport photos in hijab. Other than this, I don't see any check marks on the form.

What i'm surprised is that, they didn't ask for updated AOS, or 2015 tax return? Just checked original documents, and such, asked a few questions. However, my child who is a U.S. citizen born in Pakistan. She showed CO our child's consulate issued birth certificate and passport.

Her interview was on June 6th. She already took new photos which she'll drop off at embassy tomorrow. Should I be worried? I have already booked my airline ticket for next month, and plans to bring my wife and kid back in U.S.

Hello Every One, Asad Here,

My wife applied for my immigrant visa, (She is a green card holder) in December 2013, my Case got lost in NVC for dont know what reason i called back and forth to get an update, they first did not issue a fee challan automatically and i had to request them which took around 2 months, anyways to summarize, it usually takes 12 to 18 months for the complete process for immigrant visa for spouse of green card holder, but it took me around 26 Months just to receive my file at Islamabad Embassy, Then they scheduled me for August 9th 2016,

9TH AUGUST 2016: Interview Date : Location : Islamabad US Embassy.

everything goes smooth, same routine questions, how did you meet, when was the marriage, did you travel somewhere, they CO kept on typing something which i got a bit worried that what is he trying to find BUT relax people he just has to make notes for what ever we talk or converse, anyways everythings is going fine and suddenly he gives me a white paper, the same story as written in this POST,, DENIED:" thing put me in a shock and he also handed me the passport, i subsequently asked him dont' you wana keep my passports then i realized he has kept the current passport and returned me my previous expired ones,

My Father inlaw's passport was also kept in 2010 for administrative processing when they went for an interview, (With wife), Mother inlaws passport with visa was delivered within 10 days and father inlaws was delivered after 30 days, hopefully all of us come under the 30 days umbrella not the years :(

Prayers for all, we are expecting a baby in November - i wish and pray i am there in US when that happens.

Regards,

Asad
