Administrative Processing for my Wife

AlhamdoLillah, today i got issued right after exactly 5 weeks, i had an interview on 24th feb and today 30 April got issued. 1st 3 week i didnt have any update and then last 2 weeks i had frequent updates date, almost 6 updates and then Issued. So guys InshaAllah everyone waiting for the issue will get visa, just be patient and no need to panic if until 1 month you dont get any update. yesterday i got my 6th update and this morning i got issued finally.

Key is to pass on with this waiting time is to keep praying and be patient, and have a believe that if your case is genuine then you will get your visa sooner or later, more chances are within 60 days and more likely 5-6 weeks.

Now i am waiting for the passport, my wife is in Karachi and waiting for the call to pickup the passport, hopefully within couple of days she will get her passport back.

Anyone from Karachi can share their experience that how long it take to get call for passport pickup.? or anyway to track the passport? really appreciated.

I got issued on 30th March Morning PST, then again on 31 March morning status updated ISSUED.

Then we can track passport with passport number from this website.

Its 2 days, my wife spoke to karachi office, they said, it is still in process, then she called Islamabad office, they said it is still here in Islamabad and in process, you will get email or call to pickup. I was expecting to receive call or email today, but they closed at 5PM, now hopefully tomorrow my wife get a call.

Does anyone have a same experience ??

Alhamdollilah,

Today my wife received the passport back from American Express, her interview was on 24th Feb, i attended the interview with her, they really ask a lot of questions and evidence, specially they want to see evidence and chat which we did prior to marriage, since it was CR1 case, after interview CO said that they need some time to do background check, and it may take 1 month. Our case was idle for 3 weeks, means no updates, after 3 weeks, i notices 6 updates frequently on alternate days, then on 30th March visa was issued, i also noticed 7th update on 31th March, then today on 4th April, she got the passport.

AP is different for everyone, it all depends on CO, it can take 3 weeks to years, but most of the cases are issued between 5-6 weeks, some of the case in 8-10 weeks, very few of them 6 months. But one thing is common in all case, which is PRAY, all cases required a lot of pray and believe that you will get the passport soon, Insha Allah, Ask your elders and parents to pray you and for everyone who is stuck in the middle of nowhere.

my wife's visa issued on 30 March and expiring on August 7, 2016.

so its 5 months in our case.

5 months after your interview in your case, but 6 months after the medical, the visa is valid as long as the medical is valid

Mine did.. But then I received the call from ebassy saying, they want a re-interview...
