Today i got another status update (3rd), does any body knows how many updates are expected before issuing a visa?

Interview was on feb 17 over a month and the case still shows ready for interview last updated on the case was 18 of March and under non immigrant no status..

anybody in the same situation as.i am..

Did you apply for K3 visa as well or filed a form I129F after I130.

InshaAllah, but embassy is close today. hopefully tomorrow or next week.

Does anyone knows that after how many updates embassy usually issue visa after AP?

I knew another guy who got his wife visa after 2 months of AP. so Awe-Inspiring soon your wife will be getting as well. Insha Allah.

I am in the same situation. Interview was 3rd March and it still shows Ready for interview but i have had two apdates in a row 21st and 22nd. I sent the email to embassy about this and they told me that the case is under AP. Hope this helps

If you email embassey and they reply you then that update in ur case doesnt count

I am.award of that Last time we email was march 1 and last update was March 18 without sending an email.

I am.just concerned why it does not show AP

No update since 15 March (earlier 7 n 8 march, interview was on 3 march).. We are so concerned

Honeslty gUys no 1 can teLl how many updates it take to Visa issued process , no body knows so far wht i have seen , if anyone case is in AP no 1 can teLl wen this will done , it depends on wht sort of AP they pUt u on & also it might take from week to 6 months or more , bUt i hope and pray from Allah that make everyone visa issued as soon as possible bcos this is gettin really frustrating, they dnt care abt anyone people having family issues bcos if this . But hope for best bcos we cannot do anything abt this . May God bless u aLl ..

You are so right Aryan no one in this world knows when we will get issued no matter how many updates you get. Just keep praying inshaAllah one day we will all be out of this hard time. Idk what they are upto my wife she is just 20 years old , no history of travels n first time had her passport after marriage. I'm a physician here n doing great . The only thing I can think of the delay is might be my divorce n remarriage but if that's the case didn't they already worked it out at the uscis and then at the NVC stage . Do you guys think they still do background checks of petitioner or it's just the beneficiary at this stage?

no tRust mE its not abt ur previous divorce, i hv asked lot of lawyers in NYC they were like 90% of cases after that incident in California specially marriage and fiancé visa is goin thru AP process, they also start giving u some sort of papers before interview for ur social information like FB whtsapp and other , m sure ur wife also filled that up , AP process is here ever since NVC but now almost all the cases goin thru that after 1 January 2016 .. I hope u gona get soon i think its almost 2 months now after ur wife interview? yAr i hope u will get it this week inshaAllah & wen was ur last update?
