I'm trying to fill out the I-864 (affidavit of support) and when you get to Part 5 about Sponsors household size.

I am sponsoring my husband that I just married on a K1.

If you put in the person you are sponsoring in Part 2, ( my husband the immigrant I am sponsoring) and then put in that you are married in the section about persons not sponsored in this affidavit. This doesn't make sense, the total for the household comes to 3. As this form auto populates as it goes through each question.

Can anybody out there help me with this please

We followed the example form from here

and put 0 for 5.3

It doesn't make sense because you are married but you have to put 0 there as you can't count anyone twice.

^ I second this. The form instructions specifically say not to count anyone twice, so you would put "0" for your spouse since he's also the immigrant
