We are filling out our I-130 and are a little confused about box 14. Is that the date and place of entry to USA or do they want the place and date of our interview and approval ?

The question reads: "Date and place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permanent residence and class of admission"

Any help would be appreciated

The petitioner is an LPR? Did they enter with an immigrant visa? or did they do Adjustment of Status?

p.s. why does your profile say K-1?

Did adjustment to status. My wife came on K1 visa.....we are now working on bringing her kids.

Then it wants the date that AOS was approved, and I'm not sure about "place" but I think it would be the local office that handled the AOS.

Why are you not petitioning the kids? Is it because they were over 18 when you were married?

Please , I AM a Permanent Resident and trying to file I-130 for my wife and children. I learnt my children under 21years would enjoy deriavative benefit. My elderst child turns 21yrs November 14, 2016. My question is , should I file one single I-130 or file a seperate I-130 for my elderst child. They are all in Ghana.

Thanks.

hi

separate, because he will change category from f2a to f2b and It will take over 7 years of waiting, since the petition for f2A takes around 2 years, he will age out and change category
