Green Card and SSN to a P.O Box?

Hi! I was just wondering, is it possible to get the greencard and SSN mailed to a POBox? We are going to stay in a hotel for the first weeks and after we are going to stay in a temporal apartment that doesn't allow us to receive mail. What do you think?

I tried searching the answer in the forum but the only info I got was from a few years ago.

USC abroad since 1982

Married Argentinian husband in 2010

1st Daughter born 2013 (no CRBA)

2nd Daughter born 2015 (no CRBA)

Visa process 2015

I-130 sent: July 14th (delivered July 17th by DHL)

Checks Cashed: July 22nd

NOA1 received: August 5th via mail - California Service Center

NOA2 received: August 18th via email

NVC Received Package: September 4th.

Got NVC Case Number over the Phone: September 21st.

Paid AoS Bill / Send DS261: September 21st.

Paid IV Bill: October 23rd.

Submitted DS-260: October 30th.

Sent AoS and IV Packages: November 10th.

Received Checklist: December 3rd.

New Scan Date: December 4th.

Case Complete: December 31 (they said the cases were completed since Dec. 17th but something was missing in one of them)

Medical Examination: February 2nd.

Interview Date: February 29th

Visa Issued:

POE:

I don't know the answer, but if it has to be signed for, I would think the answer would be "no". I did get a letter from the SS ( I am an American citizen) telling me that the address they have was not a residence when I was getting my mail at my office and had to give them another address.

what? wait a mo - which address did you use for the DS-260?

that's the address the green card will be mailed to.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

what? wait a mo - which address did you use for the DS-260?

that's the address the green card will be mailed to.

We didn't put any. Since we are living in Argentina we have no address in the US yet (not even family bc they all live here) so we put "unknown".

We are going to give the address to the cbp officer when we arrive.
