:o:o Maybe they are bringing them permanently to the US!

I found some at a Regal theatre too a few weeks ago - I asked the staff there and they said they were temporary but I would LOVE it if they were wrong :dancing:

I never understood this Tim Hortons thing. Even when I lived in Canada it was just another donut shop to me. Maybe because I hate coffee is why I never understood why Canadians are so gung-ho on that donut shop. On one of our local Denver radio shows they were talking about it due to a story that came out of Canada and they were trying to figure out what Tim Hortons was until one of the other guys in the studio likened it to Dunkin' Donuts. Which is what I've always referred it to as the Canadian Dunkin' Donuts. Though the big difference is, no one here really goes to Dunkin' Donuts for anything and couldn't even tell you where the nearest one. Canadians on the other hand could tell you every Tim Hortons in their province and have probably visited every one too. Maybe it's an addictive thing like people I know and Starbucks? Canadian Crack that only Canadians can taste or something?

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

I think they put crack in the coffee. I can take or leave the coffee, but the donuts were good.

Tim's coffee is the best average priced coffee I've ever tasted. I think Dunkin Donuts coffee is horrible, it tastes watered down. I like Tim's sandwiches and cookies too, the peanut butter cookie is my wife's favorite. All of the Tim's I've ever been in were clean and the people working there were prompt and courteous. I can't say the same for Dunks.

The donuts at the shop around the corner from me are pretty much the best I've ever had. They are HUGE and fresh and perfect.

I've been doing fine without the Tim's coffee.

Tim's to me was mostly a meeting place for coffee dates with Friends. I do have a lot of memories of it through my life in Winnipeg. There certainly aren't any Tim's near me down here in California.

I guess I grew up with Tim Horton's donuts and I cannot accept another. It's not just donuts in my American town, other Canadian donut shops weren't as good either (I know....can you even think of another?...used to be one called Coffee Time).

We stop at a Tims on the highway just over the border at Buffalo, I have my double chocolate donut and then I'm happy :) The coffee is good drip coffee, its not fresh ground like a fancy coffee shop so I don't compare it to that.

Dunkin is garbage anytime I've had it.

My latest Canadian stash - All Dressed Crispers, Coffee Crisp, Red Rose Orange Pekoe, Bits & Bites Cheese, Hickory Sticks... unfortunately I forgot ketchup chips and Skor bars. Next time!!! Don't mind the diapers.... they were a necessary purchase haha. Gotta get the things that keep you sane! Oh and my dual citizen baby apparently wants to eat the hickory sticks already...

That is beyond cute and I am super jealous of the coffee crisp and crispers! Aren't skor bars just called heath bars here though?

Ugh, that sucks! I haven't gotten round to trying one (and probably won't now) but I loved skors bars at home.
