A Couple Stopped To Help Donald Trump When His Limo Broke Down--Here's How He Repaid Them

In 1995 Donald Trump was traveling along a New Jersey highway when the limo in which he was traveling experienced a flat tire. Spotting the disabled car along the side of the road, a passing motorist stopped to offer his assistance. After helping, Trump asked how he could repay the good samaritan. The man asked that Trump send his wife a bouquet of flowers. Trump agreed.

True to his word, the bouquet arrived several weeks later along with a note saying, "we've paid off your mortgage."

The story, which has been recounted numerous times including in Forbes Magazine, is just one of many that demonstrate the generosity of Donald Trump according to Jerry Falwell Jr., son of the late pastor Jerry Falwell and President of Liberty University.

"I got to know Donald Trump after he spoke [at Liberty University] in 2012," Falwell told Sean on Hannity. "I learned so much about him that the public never hears." Falwell went on to list Trump's numerous charitable givings.

"Right after he visited here last time I called him about a large Christian ministry in another state that needed some help," Falwell explained. "I learned within a day or two he had donated 100,000 dollars of his own money."

Falwell also recounted the story of an inner inner city basketball tournament Trump rescued from financial disaster.

"He learned about Clyde Frazier Jr. who ran the Harlem Hoops tournament in the inner city and was killed in the 9/11 attacks," Falwell said. "He searched down the family and donated the money to keep that tournament going."

Watch Jerry Falwell Jr. speak to Sean about the generosity of Donald Trump on Hannity:

Dang that is quite a pay back.

It's too bad palin is endorsing him. I think she is the stupidest clown to hit the political scene in my lifetime. I don't like Clinton, but she is definitely not stupid. Palin simply is and Trump said he'd even consider her for a cabinet position, geeze!

Good luck!

I just imagine thousands of Trumps haters spending days upon days trying dig up some dirt on him. Look at how much B###### has been slung at him and none of it sticks. He just keeps rolling along.

That's because he has the same kind of supporters as Clinton does: they don't care about the other side and, strangely in some ways, the worse he is the more they'll support him, because it's yet more of a F-you to the other side.

So Clinton kills babies for fun. We support her anyway and she's going to be your president, how you like those apples?

So Trump has real live actual slaves he keeps. Haha, we're doubling-down on him. Screw you democrats!

With politics having devolved into me vs you, the worse your politician is the more it hurts the other side.

Good luck!

Not a fan of Palin, but have a hard time calling Hillary smart. If Trump wins, maybe he makes Palin ambassador to Russia, that way she can stay in Alaska and keep an eye on them from her house.

She has a doctorate from Yale and is well spoken, though. She has risen to a pretty good office and cannot say that is all because of her husband. I don't like her, but I have never watched her talk and thought that woman is just straight up a moron. I have thought that watching Palin talk, though, and also Carson (despite him being a neurosurgeon. I don't understand how because when he speaks he comes across as a fool).

It would be awesome if Trump is nominated and has Palin as VP just to make the whole election even more of a joke.

Good luck!

I think there is some confusion. I think Clinton is smart, I've never thought she was a moron. I have thought that about Palin. I think she is simply not that clever and became governor of alaska because it didn't really matter.

Good luck!

Or most men in Alaska voted with their other head.

Every time I hear Hillary speak with her made up southern accent I thinks he is a moron. Also, having a doctorate from Yale does not exactly means someone is smart. I have worked with many Ivy leaguers at all graduated levels, and I can't say they all impressed me as being smart. I am not trying to compare Hillary and Sarah, but Palin is not running for president, so Hillary deserves more scrutiny.
