Hi

My mom is in the US since 6 months and I would like to Adjust her status . The problem is that she is being treating for breast cancer and ongoing a chemotherapy. I have made an arrangement with the hospital and paying for it, so no problem on that side. I heard some people have been denied because of Hypertension condition. I just want to know if breast cancer is a class B condition and if there is a possible RFE for that. If anyone every had an experience about this or have a list of class B condition, I will really appreciate to have a feed back.

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I think this is something you should at least consult a lawyer about because of some factors that will come up. Since her illness doesn't really harm others, I doubt she will be inadmissible on medical grounds. It's good that you can afford you mom's treatments because they would be looking at making sure she won't be a public charge. They might question too if and why she is unable to get this treatment from her home country (something about sending her back maybe causing more hardship to you?). I'm hoping others can chime in too. Have you tried contacting a civil surgeon in your area? Maybe they can help clear things up too.

I'm not sure if this article will help:

I wish you the best and will pray for her quick recovery. Take care.
