We have an appointment with USCIS to get an I-94 extension for my wife and her daughters. A couple of questions:

  • What do we need to bring? - her Id's Passport, GC, state id have expired - we have the original extension letter
  • Are passport pictures necessary?
  • I assume I need to bring the girls too, along with passport pics for them as well?
  • Another advice?

Thanks,

Art

Thanks,

Sorry, a bit confused. Form I-94, Arrival/Departure Record comes from CBP, not USCIS. Are you asking about getting an extension of the Form I-797 ROC receipt/extension letter (NOA1) by way of an Infopass appointment? This is obtained from USCIS.

If so, suggest that you bring the original Form I-797 (and any ROC-related documents the children received), their valid passports, their expired GCs. IF USCIS needs photos, they can obtain another set of biometrics. Unsure where passport photos came into this process? All conditional residents should likely be in attendance. What does your appointment notice state? Depending on the outcome, USCIS will likely stamp the passports with a I-551 temporary GC stamp.

Report back with your results.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I stand corrected, please review this thread about renewal options of the ROC extension letter: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/582345-removing-condition-almost-a-year/

Hello LynandArt. How was your info pass? What are the requirements they ask? Do they ask for pics and other documents? I will be going to schedule my appointment this week. They say they require to bring passport and green card. I was not able to receive my noa1 and biometrics for my ROC. Thats why i need to get an info pass.Thank you.
