HELP!!!

I was approved for a k1 visa on Feb.22, 2007 at the embassy in Jamaica. The consular officer told me it would arrive in a week but to date I have not received it. Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay? Why won't they send it?

Hi Ric2play. You could wait up to 2 weeks for it. I know people have waited a couple days to 3 weeks. Please post this question the yardie thread. Many Jamaican people there. It will get answered fast. You will find that thread under the category Region. Then choose Caribbean and at the top of the page is the yardie page. Any JA questions can be answered there.

Have you tried calling Airpak? My now husband was not getting called so he called and the Embassy did not write down his phone number.

If it is not with Airpak I would call the Embassy.

Dont worry your not the only one. My interview was on Feb 21 at Montreal Consulate and I havent recieved mine either. This is mainly due to Security Checks or Administrative Processing (which one in your case can be found by calling your consulate) I would give it about a week more before you call them. Good Luck and dont stress out.
