Hi everyone. My husband and son were interviewed back in November at the embassy in Armenia. They were given a yellow 221g for Domicile (I have been living in Armenia for a long time). Their statuses were Refused and still are, even though I submitted some documents the following day of the interview (I even went to the embassy straight after they told me they were refused, but of course they didn't let me in). I emailed the embassy 2-3 weeks ago asking for an update but they haven't replied. I'm so worried, because the status date has only been updated once (the day I submitted the documents) and it's still 'refused'.

I'm thinking of emailing the embassy again, but I don't want them to get annoyed...it's just the status still being 'refused' and not 'administrative processing' is scaring me. I would also like to state in the email that I have just applied for my Voter card online, and I have the receipt with me. Should I email them, or wait for them to contact me? 2 months have passed since the interview with no update whatsoever. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that it's ok for the status to not change after refusal. :/

Sin ce you have a son, have you enrolled him in school in the USA yet? Found a home to live in? Contacted job agencies?

I submitted a letter starting with why I've stayed here for so long and telling them that I will be moving back permanently if they are granted visas, job enquiries (I've sent my resume to some employers), an email from an employer stating that she'll invite me as an applicant when I'm back in the USA, apt. leasing enquiries, an email from a real estate agent giving me her info for my brother to contact her for an apt. seeing, many pages of WhatsApp messages with my friend (I also included her contact info) about my permanent move back, many pages of Viber messages with my brother (he's been looking for an apt. for us and we're always messaging about this), and lastly, my valid ID card.

My son is only 2.5, so I haven't enrolled him anywhere.

Th job enquiries, apt. enquiries, and the messages with my brother and friend all happened before the interview (I have the dates also printed, proving this).
