ok i did not know

i was married US citizen for 6 years but our marriage did not workout and we split like a year ago but we got divorced 4 month ago

so i got my green card through marriage to a US citizen

i dont understand why peoples get marry with an american get green card and got divorce and bring wife or husband from home country ....... if they think home country marriages are more reliable then why they got marry first with american citizen and later on with country men or women....sounds sucks to me!!!!!!

because u dont understand what i have been throw with this american wife she was crazy i cant tell u my personnel life but she divorced me i did not divorce her she want me to work for her her daughter and her daughter boyfriend and their child im the only one was working and everybody is lazy staying home and when i get my check she take it away from me and give me some money and tell me that i dont know how to pay bills and take me to work and bring me from work and i been like that for 6 years i have no future with them they all depend on me to pay bills when i stopped that she told to get out of her house do you think i will marry an american again i dont think so

im not saying all american wife like that i know some are very good my best friend he is married to american he is happy they have a daughter she is working he is working he bought a nice truck i have driver licence but she did want me to buy a truck because she is very controlling person i have been in jail for 6 years and when she divorced me i felt that im reborn again and im in medicine right now because of her

sounds like you did not know her well enough before you came to the US

you can apply as others have said

be prepared for embassy to look at the circimstances and probably deny

and look at longer than 2 years at that is normal for Morocco

How long ago did you get your green card through your former spouse? If it was less than 5 years ago, you might want to be aware of INA 204(a)(2)(A), which says that you cannot petition a spouse while you are still a permanent resident, and less than 5 years after you got permanent residency through another spouse, unless you can establish to the satisfaction of the government that your previous marriage was not entered into for the purpose of evading any provision of the immigration laws.

I am sorry to hear about that... its really bad i can understand how you gone through it.... i guess it was your love marriage and before marriage you was not sure that what kind of personailty she has.... or she changed all of sudan after marrying with you...

yes i loved her and i got my 10 years green card 4 years ago i could leave her 4 years ago i even want to apply for citizen ship and she refused she said that i dont need it and i said ok its fine but i could not handle it anymore and i had to be a man and stop her and her family using me to pay for everything and i go to work from 7 in the morning till 7 night and i make good money but i have nothing right now

I got my green card through my ex five years ago. i just got married, and still have a green card.
