Hello,

Any help based on experience would be appreciated. Part 2 question one asks for current legal name. The instructions state that the current legal name is the name on the birth certificate unless it has been changed after birth by a legal action such as a marriage or court order. Since my wife and I were married here in the USA, her current legal name in the USA is her married name which is the name on the GC, not the birth certificate. Am I reading that correctly that I put her current married name (my last name) for current legal name and not the birth certificate name?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
