I-485 Packet Cover Letter, put new last name or old last name for Beneficiary?

Several examples on VisaJourney of the forms I-485, I-765, I-864, etc. say and show that putting the married last name of the beneficiary is what is needed to let the government and Social Security change your name on your ID cards and such which can then be used to change names on other places like banks, combined lease agreements, etc. So on our forms we are putting the married last name since that is what she now goes by even though it is not on the ID card yet.

The question is, since we are putting the married last name on all the forms, when putting the name on the cover letter i.e. (Re: Adjustment of Status for ________ ) should we be using the new married last name or the old last name? I'm just a nitpicker on precision.

Did your fiancee recently get married? Then use her married name.
