Hi,

I am going to have our biometric tomorrow. What kind of things do I need to bring and watch out for?

1. bring app letter

2. bring passport

3. don't bring cell phone

What else am I missing here?

Your list is good, but you forgot 1 important thing. Do not apply any lotion to the hands, and make sure they are clean. When my wife went this week, that was the first thing asked.

DO NOT APPLY LOTION.

Put the lotion in the basket :blink:

One more thing, dont make any plans later in the day. We spent almost 4 hours waiting today for biometrics. Simply outrageous.

My husband went of his yesterday. We were there 1/2 hour early, they took him in 10 minutes and we were out 15 minutes before his appointment time. It was a breeze.

Hope the interview is that quick and easy....

WE ARE DONE!!!

Our appointment was that simple also. Our appointment time was 8:00 a.m. and there was just us and one other couple. They opened the door at 8:00, and us as well as the other couple were done by 8:30.

I-129F Timeline:

03-10-06 - Sent I-129F to USCIS

03-25-06 - NOA2 Approval

08-28-06 - Interview!!!

11-22-06 - Got the Visa!!!

good advice! Glad I took mine today !(when I realized that using my passport for ID meant a different name than my appointment letter... )

We were a 9am appoinment, was out by 10am.
