Any issues with adding evidence late?

We haven't gotten a will and power of attorney yet, but now that our child is a few months now we are planning on getting them. Will this create any issues if we get these now and send in our package in June?

I understand it as creating evidence now versus having it done immediately after marriage to submit at the AOS interview to prove a bona fide marriage.

Hey guys - what I meant is would they get suspicious if we put everything together (will, joint cc, etc.) just a few months before applying for removal of conditions rather than at the beginning of the marriage.

Yes and no. We made our checking and credit card accounts joint as soon as she got an ssn. She didn't make any transactions on these account since she doesn't have a license so everywhere we go, we go together so I just use my card. Now that she is starting to learn to drive, we got her a non driver ID card and I've shown her how to use a cc so some transactions will appear now. We refinanced the home last month and I put her on the car title. She has always been on my medical insurance and beneficiary for life insurance since we got married. We've also filed joint taxes since we got married. No will or power of attorney yet.

Recent wills and POA are not a big deal but bank statements are and they want to see joint accounts with activity from the time of marriage.

The reason you mentioned of why she didn't do any bank transactions are very understandable.

I would. Not needed but it helps so why not use it.

Just state the facts. Don't misrepresent stuff, but giving the adjudicator a glimpse into "a day in the life" of your immigrant family, a good idea of how the finances work out in your family. It isn't a case of doing it wrong, or doing it right, it is a case of how things are done in your bonafide family.

My wife and I have a joint "check-free" checking account. To this very day, she avoids using debit cards, and only after a couple of years occasionally uses a credit card. To my knowledge, she never has established a PIN for the debit card associated with our joint checking account. I wrote in my cover letter these circumstances, including that my Chinese wife still seems to prefer to primarily use cash for her trips to the store, etc. I chalked it up to being a cultural thing.

There were a few things I added to ROC pack that were very current and that was just sheer coincidence. My employment is a very small, privately owned business. They don't offer health insurance or life insurance etc... But a month before I sent out my ROC pack my work had Aflac come in and said anything we chose can either be taken out of our paychecks weekly or personally out of our bank accounts. I jumped at the chance of getting life insurance as this is something we needed a long time ago. Be it just a 1 month old policy I added it to my ROC pack. Also we purchased a brand new car jointly about 6 months ago... I also added this as although it was a relatively new purchase I felt it necessary for application. All evidence old or new is good evidence... you can never have enough evidence LOL :-)
