HI everyone! I just wanna ask those who have fiances in the phils... how many months did it take you to get an interview date at the american embassy in manila since you received NOA2? if my NOA2 approval was march 10 2006, how long will i receive an interview date then....? :( I've read somewhere that it takes at most 3 weeks for the CIS to send the NOA@ at the NVC, and at most 3 weeks at the embassy.. so m estimating like 2-3 mos at most. But unfortunatley, our agency told us it would still take around 5 mos more.... :crying: Why??

It's more like 6 months from NOA2 to the interview. Join the Manila interview thread in the foreign embassy forum.

It is taking a lot more time these days than when we went through there. Try to do a timeline search, maybe that can help you get a feel as to what it has been taking others.

I got my NOA2 approved on Feb 9th and it arrived in Manila on Feb 16th.

Luckily I called manila to get the status on the petition if they rec'vd it or not...and they told me they did receive it on the 16th of Feb. Also, they had the incorrect address logged in their database so my fiance had to fax over the correct address to the embassy.

They stated that it takes anywhere from 120 days before they can schedule the interview...they told me to call back at the end of April or beggining of May and they can tell me the status and what date my fiance would be interviewed.

So, I'm counting the days before I go and pick up my fiance. I pray that everything will be ok and be ready for a June trip.

ciao!
