02-01-2016 - All MVC numbers showed up on USCIS website!

02-12-2016 - Received my biometric letter for the 24th of February.

02-24-2016 - completed biometric as scheduled in Elizabeth NJ ASC

04-11-2016 - Requested an SR based on the 75 days pending application for EAD/AP

04-11-2016 - Text/Email Advice that EAD/AP card is being produced and to be sent to address on fle.

04-16-2016 - EAD/AP card received

04-18-2016 - SSN Card on hand

08-17-2016 - Received Text/Email for interview date scheduled for September 22, 2016

  • 09/24/2019: USCIS online estimate is April 2020 
  • 09/28/2019: NOA1 received in my mailbox
  • 09/28/2019: Biometrics appointment scheduled [waiting for notice]
  • 10/04/2019: Biometrics appointment notice received in mailbox 
  • 10/17/2019: Biometrics appointment in Revere, MA completed
  • 10/17/2019: USCIS status changed to "we reviewed your biometrics"

01/13/2016: Received 3 text/email notifications from USCIS

01/14/2016: Check cashed out by USCIS

01/19/2016: Received official NOAs in the mailbox

01/29/2016: Received biometric letter in the mailbox scheduled for 2/8/2016

02/08/2016: Biometric appointment done

03/25/2016: Received email/text notification: "Interview is scheduled for 04/26/2016"

04/02/2016: Update on EAD: "New Card is being produced"

Hi guys, new user here. Im a Canadian filing AOS after marriage to US citizen.

Our timeline:

Case received Jan 7, 2016

Biometrics completed: Feb 1st, 2016

Case ready for interview - March 17, 2016 --> I was told this after calling USCIS, no updates were made online on my case to let me know about it

Currently - waiting for a letter and date for interview

EAD and AP pending - today is day 84 - still waiting for this.

I have a job lined up and the stress, frustration and lack of patience is really taking a toll!
Glad to see some of you have gotten interviews already.

I'm waiting from Houston, TX - hopefully to hear good news soon, keep me in your prayers.

Fingers crossed for all of us!

I'm waiting from SF, same timeline like yours and still no update yet. I did submitted an inquiry for my ead last week and was told that it's still currently under review and will receive a decision shortly. It's taking forever...

I had my AOS interview March 8, 2016, I came in on F-1 visa 12 years ago and I am filing for AOS with my wife who is USC. There were two IOs in the room when my wife and I walked in. We went through the security check and sat for a few minutes before we were called in. The first thing one of the IO said was how amazed he was about how organized and detailed the folder we brought in for interview was. The interview itself went pretty smoothly as we answered every question appropriately and as asked. IOs were shocked and excited when they learnt I shattered a jumbo jet and proposed to my wife while in the sky. I blanked out when he asked me about my sponsor and I told him I met him in Texas, but IO was insistent that my sponsor filed his taxes in Virginia, but I held my position and told both IOs that I met my sponsor in Texas and I don't know all his business ventures and states that he works. IO took my I-94 and said " You can have your passport back but I am going to hang on to your I-94 and send this to NBC" he then stapled it to my documents and folder he has with him and all along during the interview process, he kept on stamping something on my pile of files with him but he never stamped my passport. The final thing he said after asking the YES and NO questions was " We will get back with you if we need additional information, but the time it will take you to hear back from me will be way shorter then what you had to wait to get an interview" My wife then asked " we plan on traveling and going to visit Africa and stop by Jamaica, are we able to go and return without problems ? IO responded "If you have to travel, I will get with you attorney and have him file for AP for you before you travel" It's been 14 days since my interview and my status online has not been updated from "interview scheduled " I am confused and don't know what to think.. Is this a normal interview and I don't know what to expect next.
