Hello Everyone,

I have a quick questions not sure if anyone has asked this before but My husband and I will be sending his ROC paperwork pretty soon and are wondering if we send the paper work before his green card expires which is February 12, 2015 and have not but have NOA1 does that still make him illegal? He is working right now and we would certainly not want that to affect him as he is the one whom pays for most of our expenses.

Sorry if it seems a little confusion the way i am writing it.

much help would be appreciated

Did you mean 2016? If you send in the application before the expiration of the green card, his status is fine. He won't be considered illegal.

05/24/06 - Biometrics letter became viewable online (appt scheduled for 06/07/16) - Day 14

05/31/16 - Was denied walk-in fingerprints with just 1 person left in line. Milwaukee office, boo! - Day 21

06/07/16 - Biometrics completed in Milwaukee, WI - Day 28

12/21/16 - Passed Citizenship test/Interview was successful! - Day 197

01/26/17 - I am a US citizen!!! - Day 233

Yes i did mean that im still stuck in 2015 haha

you should receive a 1 year extension. that permit you to travel and work.

Sounds Great i was just scared due to the fact that we left this to the last minute
