I fiance is being asked for a DNA maternity test. I ordered the kits and they arrived at the embassy January 11, Does anyone have a clue how long it takes the Manila embassy to notify her so she can make an appointment?

Thanks

You can click on "Wiki" at the top of this page, then click on "see all pages", then click on "IR-2(and CR-2) Visas". Scroll down to "Third Stage - Embassy" and you will see links to DNA testing, including other people's experiences and timelines.

The DNA test is complete. Next question is how ling will it take the embassy to update our file. Will she have to go back in or can she send the embassy her passport? I am hoping since the DNA test was all they needed to confirm, they will approve her visa without another appointment. Our case status is under administrative review.

Any input will be appreciated.

Contact the embassy regarding your question, that is what I recommend.
