Hi VJ friends

On Tuesday I (UKC) and my husband (USC) received a letter from the NVC which is a little confusing. My sister-in-law is joint sponsoring us. The letter starts of by saying our case is on hold until they receive the missing documents. In another paragraph they state while we will schedule your case for interview your AOS was incomplete, some of your documents are missing.

On the section relating to my sister-in-law they ask her to make one correction and to submit financial information she as already sent to me. They also state that she should send the corrected form to me for me to take the interview. They also requested proof that she is also a USC.

The section relating to my husband he has been ask to make correction to the form he completed. They have asked my husband to send an updated AOS form (07/02/2015) to NVC. They also ask him to submit the financial information which he has already submitted.

The reason I am confused is because on one hand the NVC have said they have put the case on hold until they receive the corrected documents. And on the other hand they are asking my husband and my sister-in-law to send the corrected documents to me for my interview.

I am not sure what to do any advice on this matter will be very much appreciated  .

From my understanding, you have some missing information or/and incorrect information. NVC will put everything on Hold until you submit the requested documents.

You need to retain copies of the information for your interview....

I stand corrected but that's what i gathered from your post.

Hi Ayisi & Phyllis

Thank you for your response. It is very helpful.

My husband and sister-in-law sent had already sent all the documents the NVC requested. I have copies of every thing. I acknowledge that there are two corrections on both forms that need to be amended.
