If I lived in a Muslim country, this might be the case. I would have said ask around but some people never pass up a chance to talk about it so you have your answer.

Funny thing is I've met quite a few Muslims from places like Afghanistan, Indonesia, Pakistan, and the like. When I tell them I'm a former Muslim, guess what? They just say ok and keep talking to me. I've even gotten gifts from them. Which is surprising since I keep hearing about how violent they are.

Agreed. Not real muslims at all. Even though they say they are, I happen to know their faith better than they do and despite feeling so strongly about this they are willing to die for it I maintain they are not real muslims. There is nothing in the koran that condones this behavior. I mean, except for the parts of the koran that specifically do condone it, there is nothing that condones it.
