AOS and EAD (merged threads)

Hello fellows, it has been a while since i check on here! Well i hope it is well with you all, i am happy for those who have already joined their spouse and also who has been issued a visa nd about to join and praying for those waiting to be issued visas aswell as case pending....well i do have a quick question about my AOS and also EAD....i have been here in the us for almost 3months we've done everything and have applied for both AOS and EAD which USCIS received it on 11/09/2015 then i had a mail and proceed further for biometric then after my biometric i did received mail requesting for enitial evidence, then i submitted the enitial evidence which they received it on 12/30/2015

And i have heard if they request for enitial evidence the time line reset again

And till now i havent heard anything from the uscis and when i call they always tell me to wait,

Is there any one on here with similar experience?

And have any one idea how long would it take for me to hear from them?

Because they telling me the decision about the AOS i have to wait and if i dont hear anything till end of march then i have to call them

And the EAD after 60days and didint hear nothing then i can call but i am confuse 60days from the 11/09/2015 or the 60days start from the 12/30/2015 which they received the enitial evidence?

I need some help and advice fellows

A RFE will delay approval of EAD/AP a bit and you will not receive any notification that they received your RFE.
It usually takes 75-90 days, for some 120 days to receive the EAD/AP combo card. You can make a service request if you want

60 days from when you submitted the RFE.

It takes 6-12 months for the green card, depending if you have an interview or not and which service center you would be transferred to

for the interview. Most K1's receive a interview waiver letter but are approved later than those who are selected for an interview.

Yes i didint received any mail from them, but i checked my profile on the uscis home page, and says uscis request for enitial evidence has been received 12/30/2015

So our NVC will start to work on your application again

And we will mail you our decision or if we need anything more from you we mail you to request...it doesint say the exact date or details

Hope every one having a wonderfull time, a masive congrats to all those who has made it to joing their spouse and those that have been approve aswell and keeping fingers crossed for those who are still waiting,

I do have a quick question, which i do believe i can have bunch of answer

Ok here is my question

I submitted my forms I-485 together with I-765 late october and it was received november 9 but diew to some circumstances the process has delayed after my biometric uscis requested us to fill in another afidavis of support and after we made mistake, we didint add proof of income, pay stubs, blah blah blah which they requested again.....long story short

I logged on the uscis website and i saw my I-765 has been approved but my I-485 hasent been approved yet, it says they will mail me their decision or if they need something they will let me know

So i have 2 questions

After EAD been approved, how long will it take for me to get it in the mail?

Also how long will it take for uscis to make a decision on my I-485

It takes around 3 months from getting your NOA1 that you'll have a decision on your EAD/AP. It usually takes about a week for it to be delivered once it's been approved, but can take longer.

As for the I-485, that's the one that will result in a green card and turn you into a LPR, and this is the one that takes time. It's hard to say when this will be approved, it can take as little as a few months (some people have been approved before they even receive their EAD), or can take a year or more. It depends on where you're filing and how backed up they are. I've gone over 5 months since filing and have my interview scheduled for early next month, so will be about half a year from when I applied.

The timeline also depends on if you get any further RFE's and everything runs smoothly. Good luck, this process takes patience.

Well on the website says EAD has been approved so they will mail me the notice to let me know how they will process it

I didint know this process takes so long, i even wanted to return back to europe but now i can see some progress
