Well she knows how to drive but still on learners permit. No permanent license. no 2nd car, yet, And she needs both, soon. Transport schedule is hectic every day between pre-school and her changing work schedule. And she is well versed in the shopping thing  .

I presume your asawa will stay until process is complete and then travel with you back to Ohio? I'm not in any way trying to dissuade him in attending the interview with you but these final steps can still have detours.... Is your med complete yet? That COULD be a major hurdle but USUALLY isn't. And then POSSIBLE missing docs at the interview.

What we did, not necessarily the best choice for everyone, was to wait until her daughter had an interview date scheduled. Then I booked a RT ticket for me a week or so after that date with return 3 weeks later. Booked their 1 way on that date also. Then we did a week at El Nido, Palawan and a week doing the Banaue, Sagada trek before final goodbyes and departing. That left time for any possible issues to be resolved. I did of course miss attending the interview but according to Madilyn I couldn't have aided her there in any way.

Skype or FB her if you want more details.
