No Your party has moved way to the right. Sure, Democrats are relatively farther away on the spectrum, but they didn't actually move.

Saying that doesn't make it so. Individuals vary - Obama is left on social issues - but not on everything. The party hasn't changed.

Democrats and Republicans alike need the middle ground voter. Someone will have some tough questions to ask after the next election. And maybe this time around, instead of just asking the questions, maybe come up with some answers too.

You posted yourself "is there a difference?". Chris Matthew stumping someone with a question is not the same as people who actually believe there is no difference.

The farther Republicans have to go to the right, the more problem they will have attracting the middle ground. Republicans in this country are farther away from center than Democrats. That's a bigger issue for Republicans to sort out than where Democrats are on the political spectrum.

To that point, Democrats are left of Republicans. Put either party in another country - western Europe or Canada lets say, and our Democrat's would be called RWNJ's on this issue. It's all relative.

The private sector ...as in big Pharma...big banks....corporate welfare, bail outs and such, they need to be muzzled so the rest can

survive. What goes on with these big guys is criminal and has moved from dare I say 'healthy' democratic capitalism to highway robbery and sinister dealings

to screw the rest of us.

Hillary needs to let go of Wall Street as she is too far to the right on pacifying the corp world. Sad things is, the far right doesn't realize how

they are getting screwed and rather die in the gutter due to sky high health insurance premiums screaming 'appeal' rather than embracing the betterment

of health care for all.

As the world turns so the pendulum swings.

Some are so far to the right and about to fall off the edge, can't see the forest for the trees and the brain is stuck in that gear no matter what and doing the exaggeration twist keeps them in that mentality.
