Hi VJ!

I just recently got my EAD card in the mail but my question is do I need to apply for a new Social Security Card? I applied for my SSC prior to getting married so it states "Valid for work only with DHS Authorization" Can I still use this card with my EAD to apply for jobs? Or do I need to head back to the Social Security office and request a new card that doesn't say that? Answers would be great thanks!

Your EAD is your "DHS work authorization". So yes, you can work.

Have a look at the list of documents on the I-9 form

Once you have your green card you can have that annotation removed

Thanks clarifying that for me, was confused about that :)
