What is your type of visa? If your type of visa is for a spouse or children of a US citizen, you don't need to worry about the cut-off date as they will send you an interview when they can find an open slot at the embassy to schedule your appointment. If your visa is a different type of visa, most likely it'll be based on your current priority date and you probably won't get an interview appointment letter after your priority. It has to be current.

My priority date is on 31.01.2005

Cut off date for February is on 01.10.2004

I sent the iv documents to the NVC and they reviewed.

When NVC will send me an appoinment letter -

Before cut off date reach my priority date or after?

This stage can be really fustrating with NVC because I have been waiting since 28 October my car got completed and still waiting for an interview appointment... I think they schedule cases when the priority date becomes current. My case is F2A. Hopefully I hear soon this month. Good luck to u guys
