Hello

I had my interview on December 16th and was told I was approved. I've been waiting ever since to get my passport back. I'm checking online every day a thousand times a day, hoping to see the tracking number posted, but still no news and it has been over 15 business days. (including the Holidays, it has been nearly a month of waiting)

I've tried calling but I cannot reach them by phone. I have emailed multiple times, and the replies I get say that my case is 'Under Consular review'.

I've read that it can take a while especially in Montreal, but was told at the interview it would take about 72 hours.

Why am I waiting this long?

Any insight will help me relax!

Hey guys,

almost everyone is placed into the dreaded AP, but for those lucky ones, it is quick! your status will change to 'non-immigrant ready', followed by 'issued.' this seems to be the pattern.

this thread helped me through a lot of the waiting process the last two months. good luck!
