Hey guys!

I have a quick question about financial co-sponsorship. I make way below the poverty line and my father said he will sponsor me. With that being said, who fills out what? Do my father and I both fill out the I-134? Do we fill out the I-864 just in case?

Thanks a bunch guys xx

Alright so my dad and I will each fill out the I-134. Also, I mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I was a waitress at a diner that paid under the table. I just got on the books and I'm official as of the beginning of this year even though I've worked at this diner since November of 2014. Will the officers at the interview pay any mind of my income because of my dad being my co-sponsor?

Gee Louise.

You understand the US Government gets lots of criminals for tax evasion instead of the underlying crime right?

Illegal income must still be reported on your income tax return. That's the law.

You can not count income that's not reported on your tax return for the affidavit of support.

Will the US Embassy get you for working illegally off the book? No. They aren't the IRS. They don't report these things to the IRS. The only way the US Embassy will know is if you tell them about your illegal income.

I've been working for my boss on and off due to my hectic college schedule, my pappy being sick, my other seasonal position at an amusement park, etc. I'm not really worried only because in total I definitely made less than $1,000 working for him. i wanna say around maybe $400-$500. It's just the fact that I still got that money and I thought they'd want to know how. Thank you for your answer :)
