Given that obama's right hand gal would have to indict her, if she is indicted a conviction is little more than a formality. Many voters do not care about anything other than partisanship, though, so would support clinton to the grave regardless.

I think it should still be possible to vote on them, but a good candidate should quit. I doubt clinton would though as her arrogance as sense of being owed the presidency is palpable, and she's even said as much.

I wonder how much of this is responsible for bernie hacking away at a lot of clinton's lead lately.

Even against Trump (if he gets the nomination) the democrats will not want to put clinton ahead if she is indicted.

My money is on her not being indicted, though, as much as I'd love to see it.

Not when so many of the indictments are partisan in nature. Prove them guilty first.

In the meantime, no one is forced to vote for them. If that's not enough - it's probably time to blow the whole political system up and start over.

I am not sure if an indictment of Hillary would be considered partisan given that it would have to originate from the Obama DOJ. I agree she should not go to jail unless she is found guilty, but running for president is not a question of guilt or innocence. She can certainly keep running even if indicted, but the question is should she with that cloud over her head? Being that Hillary seems to feel she is entitled, I don't see her dropping out with only an indictment, however we are starting to see tougher questions being asked by generally friendly media types, so she may have a lot of heat if an indictment ever happens.

This is the price we pay for people (both sides but the right really take it to a new level) playing conspiracy theorist the last 15 years or so. We have the likes of Glenn Beck and Hannity going on for hours a day digging into all sorts of unimportant minutia - How do we know when to take any accusation seriously?
