The only fast way of getting to the NVC is by calling them, a soon as they are open and not a minute later. The line is very busy, I usually had a 20 minute wait and I rang on the dot.

If there's nothing to report on your case they will say to call back in 30 days but that's just to get you off their back. Ring everyday if you want to.

My case was in and out of NVC literally overnight, so if I had called back a month later, well I'd actually finished the interview part when it was around that time.

We received an email saying it was on its way to Australia once I had already received my passport back with the visa in it and I was leaving in a few days.

Quite ridiculous, but don't stress, things seem to work pretty quickly at the NVC, just keep ringing whenever you feel like it.

Good luck !

Kate43 is right, call NVC and they will tell you what is your case number and invoice id number,

NVC normally does not notify applicants right away when they receive cases from USCIS, Eventually after few weeks NVC will send you a welcome letter with instructions, but do not waste time, call NVC ASAP because it has been more than 20 days since you were approved, 20 days is the average waiting period between NOA2 and NVC case number.

mail? email ? to nvc? waste of time.

use a telephone, instead. practice your pointed questions prior, though.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Have hope and/or faith, call every day and I guarantee you that by this Friday they will give you the good news.

They are trained to say that line of 30 to 90 days, when I was waiting the line was IT CAN TAKE UP TO 42 DAYS.

Siga llamando!!!!

seguire tus consejos....claro cn berraquera;)

yes ,hey do you know how the embassy will contact my fiance?

I do not know much about K1, I do about CR1.

Here is the K1 guide:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide.

Every embassy has its own "procedures", check the Armenia US embassy website to find out how they do K1 once NVC sends it to them.

Your package will leave very soon for Armenia, on K1, once they get a case number by NVC, they are gone to the embassy.

Keep checking the CEAC website to see your status.
