hello How do You make an infopass appointment to get the I-551 stamp in the passport. My gc extension is about to expire in the end of the month. what options should I choose on the infopass website? and whatever I chose the response is that there is no openings for an infopass for that type of case. what to do?

You can make an info pass there. "Other" is always a great option.

You can go into the field office in person to make an InfoPass appointment too. However, according to the USCIS website, the local field office for Naples is in Oakland Park.. If I know my Florida geography right, that's way on the other end of Alligator Alley. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices/florida-oakland-park-field-office

Not sure how that field office does it, but I know my local field office allows for emergency walk-ins if you show up at 6:30am. In terms of I-551 stamps, having a plane ticket and no green card on hand constitutes an "emergency." Maybe someone in south Florida knows if your local field office allows for walk-ins.

If you want to become a citizen, you can now file the N-400 and that will force them to work on the ROC. You can also use the NOA from the N-400 as proof of your status, but you still should get the stamp at some point. You are well within the 90 day window of having been married to a USC for 3 years and a LPR for 3 years if your extension letter expires at the end of January.

Same problem here, learned to make an infopass appointment had to be at my computer at 5:00 AM, where they would reset for any cancellations, grabbed the very first opening. Can also bring two passport photos and apply for an I-94 so you don't have to carry your passport around.

We also applied for US citizenship at the earliest day, just about exactly one year after we sent in the I-751 application, with all that evidence again plus everything we already submitted for the AOS. At my wife's interview, checked her I-551 to make sure she kept herself legal. If she didn't, don't know what the consequences would have been. But she sure needed it to keep her job and also to renew her driver's license, but this was nothing short of a war with our DMV.

Month after her citizenship interview had her oath ceremony, then it was over for her, she did finally receive her ten year cars a week before her oath ceremony only to give it back. For us was a nine total hour drive, had to leave at 2:00 AM in the morning for that stamp.

having a new I-94 makes absolutely no sense after a green card is issued. None.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
