DS-160 Questions

Hi,

I've been helping my fiancee complete her DS-160 application online, and I'm not 100% certain how to answer some of the questions. I'm hoping people who've completed the whole process can give me some advice. These may not be in order, as I wrote them down as they occurred to me.

  1. List of Languages - I was doing an application in parallel with her, so I would know what she was seeing, and neither of us could get the button to Add a second language to work when we got to that question. It just generated an error. She speaks 2 languages, Vietnamese and English, but she couldn't tell them that. Have other people experienced this and, if so, what did you do about it? We were using different browsers on different versions of Windows, so it's not likely to be a browser issue.
  2. Vaccinations - it asked whether she had received all the necessary vaccinations, but this is BEFORE she even goes to the doctor to find out what she needs! Typical government foolishness! I told her to answer No, and put "I will be getting them soon" in the explanation box. Has that worked for other people?
  3. Education - In the Work/Education/Travel section, I had a Present screen, a Previous screen, and a Travel screen. She only had Present and Travel!?! This means she was unable to tell them that she is a college graduate, because that was on the screen she didn't have. Did other people run into this? If so, what did you do about it?
  4. Travel companions - It asked if anyone would be traveling with her. I will, but it doesn't seem interested in that, because there is no option under Relationship for fiance(e), petitioner, applicant, or anything else that might apply to me, other than friend or "other". I told her to say No to that question, because of that. Is that what other people did?

Naturally, we reached this point on the weekend, despite starting a couple of days ago. So, no one is answering the phones, and the people answering the inquiry form already got a little snippy with me for asking them a second question, so I really don't want to ask them four more. So, your help would be appreciated :-)

Thanks!

Dave
