Confused about steps in between NOA1 from I130 and NVC....

I posted earlier with questions about doing an AOS from a B1 visitors visa and it was clear this wasn't allowed and I definitely do not want to commit fraud or cause ourselves heartache. As such, he will come visit on the B1 visa with documentation of his job still in Uruguay, our process here etc, and then return to there when his visa expires and await processing in URU.

NOW that brings me to what to do now....

1. I have received the NOA1 from the I-130. Does that mean I am just in a waiting stage until they get the info over to the NVC? Should I be doing something else right now to make this go more quickly?

2. Regarding the affidavit of support: I have been living in Uruguay for the past two years without an income, as such, I didn't have to file an income tax return. I do not have the possibility of a co sponsor here in the US. I do have a good job (not rich but in the $60k realm) with the State government that I am starting now. Without lots of money in savings or whatever, will I have issues with this? We own some land in Nicaragua that potentially is worth around $10k but not much more, along with a little savings (less than $5000 after all we have spent to get relocated back here to the States). Am I going to have troubles here?

I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions as I go so thank you in advance for your help!

1) you sit and wait unless they request more information. There is nothing you can do. It's completely out of your control.

2) hopefully not, as you will have a government job that pays well over the poverty guidelines.
