plz help, after applying for my husband f2a category, i didn't go back to meet him, its been 1.5 years and i noticed that immigration officer sometimes asks how many times did ur spouse visited? since i did not go back, what could my husband tell them so that it doesn't look bad and he approves our case? help

I used whatsapp screen shots as a PART of my evidence package. I also used actual photos of us together on several occasions. I also used facebook screen shots, we have tagged each other multiple times saying "miss you" etc. I also used skype screen shots between us. After all that we were approved. Maybe I went overboard, but I wanted to make sure they knew we were legit.

You always tell the truth. Lying can lead to a denial and/or ban on entry. Assume that anything you tell an immigration officer will be investigated.

Tell him the truth. Don't be tempted to make up the answer you think he wants to hear. Be 100% honest.

It is true that "face time", ie time spent physically together, is a great proof of bonafide relationship. Your husband should tell the truth- and give a reason why you have not seen eachother, as well as show that you communicated in other ways.

Yes, you are right. I was making money so that I could give him my own aos, but I have a joint sponsor too. I don't know if it would sound ok to tell him that I if I would go meet him, I could lose my job.. so confused. ..

I dont think this is a problem. I and my husband haven't seen each other after our wedding. That's about 29months but we didnt had a problem with the interview. I told them the whole truth but he visited me twice before we got married. And btw, i already got my visa this morning.

I'd like to be able to give you more pointed and focused info, based on 'where you are' in the immigration process,

but

your official VJ timeline,

over at

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=223401

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=223401

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=223401

is blank.

I also think there is more underlying scrutiny at the IV Unit in Islamabad recently, for any immigrant visa application, so expect extra review and extra review time.
