Filing From Canada Fee Payment Question

Hello everyone,

This may sound like a newbie question (it is) but my wife and I are having some challenges sorting out the payment of some of the fees associated with filing our immigration paperwork.

We are living in Vancouver BC, Canada and have discovered this week that our local consulate is not certified as a USCIS facility. This means that as we submit payment we are unable to pay directly at the consulate and must do so through the mail. The paperwork I have read shows that we must pay in a money order that is in USD drawn on a U.S bank.

Our question is will we be successful if we send our money order in USD as a money order from a Canadian bank?

Thanks in advance.
