taking baby to the interview

Guys i am going to take my son to the interview I have emailed London embassy and they emailed me back saying that thanks for letting us know that you will be bringing your son with you

So my questions are:

Is my son on the list now or do I confirm it by calling or something? And shall I print the email they have sent me to take it to the interview?

Are pushchairs with a car seat allowed?

Can I take water with me in a baby flask (thermos) For baby's water or any mineral water? He doesn't like the ready made formula milk sold in stores.

Also can I take food for him like rice pudding packed from the stores?

I want to take his nappies and milk and food in his diaper bag not sure if his diaper bag would be allowed coz it's not small it's a average size bag.

If I take something and they don't allow it do they just bin or will ask me to leave?

I am sorry if its too much to answer but I don't want to be asked to leave Coz I will be alone and I don't want to take anything which is forbidden.

PLEASE NO random answers I want real answers from people with experience.

Thanks

Anything they won't allow they will ask you to either put it in the lockbox (I've never used it not sure where it is but it's not at the embassy and you have to pay for it) or they will ask you to put it in the bin.

You need to ask the embassy if they will make an exception for your son when it comes to food and drink. Stroller will most likely not be allowed in as not even backpacks are let into the embassy.

I and my now husband took our now 15 month old son, then 2 month old son into the London embassy. We had his pushchair with car seat attachment. Milk, water, puréed foods, nappies, wipes etc. The whole kitchen sink. Everything needed to be checked just like at the airport. They may ask you to test the liquids, just in case. I didn't have to but we took it all inside. Be prepared though as there are no lifts inside. We had to carry the pushchair up the stairs both inside and out so by yourself maybe a little more difficult. Hopefully someone may help.

When we were at the embassy there were many other mothers with pushchairs and all kinds of baby items.

Good luck! First hand experience with the London Embassy and babies ?
