I don't want to tell other countries how they should live their day to day lives and supposedly these reforms and changes in law have broad public support where they are being enacted. I do want a say in that stuff spreading here. This is five million people, Brunai is another half million phasing in Sharia law (recently enacting stoning to death for gay and adulterers). Looking at a map of Indonesia it isn't like this is the only area where there would be broad support of enacting Sharia Law - and they are in the 270+ million person range. I don't like the direction any of it is going.

i'm not really worried about sharia taking over the us. if we keep fighting sharia on their terms, however, yeah - it might become a problem.

Ban where exactly? I don't support the attempt to ban it for citizens of a nation. But that doesn't mean the nation should happily accept more.

I think the west should be doing what Canada recently implemented: no more single male refugees for one thing. Just none. If you're not part of a whole family you can turn your butt around (implemented december 1st). Second, massively curtail total influx of refugees anyway. Lastly, any country that feels it is suffering a population crisis and needs new people should look to other countries such as India and China, both of which have millions happy to settle in the west and do not carry with them the baggage so endemic to people from hot spot nations.

Due to 50% of this problem being how the women are acting and 50% being how they are treated by the unwelcome Germans the problem is clearly two fold:

1) Women need to do a better job of keeping strange men at arm's length

2) Germany needs to allow more young men from historically misogynist countries through its border so that they will have more compatriots and feel less ostracized by Germany society at large; they basically need more friends and associates because in large groups this kind of behavior is less likely to happen, as group members are keeping each other in check

hey ! i think a mandatory 2 year military stint in the German Army, once ya come across the border, will fix a lot of this stuff.

Most of Central America is empty at the moment, most getting to Texas within the last 10 years.

"Rape is an occupational hazard". Sounds like a Muslim sound byte? Nope. That's what was said in a US military hearing when it came to the thousands of women and more than a few men who reported they'd been sexually assaulted by a US service member. Not Islam, or Sharia Law, but our own congress has this mindset. For those who think this "culture" is only in existence within Muslim communities.

And those are the ones we know about. More often than not, women and men choose not to report the incident due to the constant victim shaming they have to go through. You can't bring something over that's already here...
