Hey everyone!
Hope everyone is doing good. A little history about my case: My husband is sponsoring me, and in most cases people mail their affidavit of support to the NVC, however I got the 221g , and I need to submit my affidavit of support to the Islamabad embassy again.
I read on a CEAC website that whenever a family is preparing their affidavit of support (AOS) they should make copies of it in advance since they will ask for it in the interview for each person present at the interview, which means if it has been signed once by the person filling the AOS the signs can be emailed and then printed.
However the 221g I got says that it should be with "original signature'. I'm a little confused here, my husband signed the papers and emailed me, I planned to get a copy of them, because the regular mail was taking too long; just like it was mentioned in the ceac website. What should i do? I haven't posted the AOS yet. Am i reading too much into it? By "Original signature" could they just simply mean, not forged?
What have you guys done when you were submitting the AOS ? I'm soo massively tired of this process, just don't want to make any mistakes :(
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

Nope the embassy is telling you what they want and its an original. In the case you mentioned are those that went through NVC and submitted originals and bring copies to interview. You have to have husband mail to you because the original signature.

It sounds like they want the original document(s) with the original "wet" signature, not a copy. You make a copy for your files. Your husband needs to have these original document(s) sent to you via a reputable courier service in your area, i.e., FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.

Be advised, this, as with many things associated with immigration is not going to be cheap.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Sounds about right. It does make sense that people who had to mail their AOS to NVC wouldn't have the original at the interview.

Thanks soo much for the help. I was hoping someone would tell me to mail the emailed version:( lol i feel like me and my husband have been running for years in a endless race and the finish line seems to be getting further and further: but as its "hopefully" fingers crossed the last step its better to do everything right!

Thanks everyone for you help!:)
